Consilience Consulting co-founders, Dr. Robert and Rebecca Ronstadt, developed award-winning Ronstadt's Financials in 1984. Over the years, Ronstadt's Financials™ became the standard in the industry, enabling users to develop complex integrated financial projections and customizable financial models, winning awards from Xerox Corporation, PC Magazine, PC World, SIIA (the Software Industry & Information Association, formerly the Software Publishers' Association), and many others.
Dr. Ronstadt received his doctorate from The Harvard Business School. He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Oregon, and obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Ronstadt was the third Director of the IC˛ Institute at the University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 2003, where he also served as the J. Marion West Professor of Constructive Capitalism. While at IC2, he greatly expanded the Fellows Program, improved the Masters Program, and together with Associate Director Sid Burback, developed the groundwork for the Global Development Program. Besides the University of Texas, Dr. Ronstadt has held faculty and administrative positions at Babson College where he helped found their entrepreneurship program, at Pepperdine University, and most recently at Boston University where he served as Vice President of Technology Commercialization. Dr. Ronstadt is the author of many books, including Entrepreneurship: Text, Cases and Notes; Entrepreneurial Finance - Taking Control of Your Financial Decision Making; and his most recent book, The Tuition Travesty: How to Take the Financial Sting Out of a College Education, available directly from us (see Books).
Rebecca Ronstadt, publisher of the Journal of the Print World, attended The Prince School of Management at Simmons College, Harvard University's Institute in Arts Administration, and The Boston Museum School of Fine Arts. She was co-founder, director, publisher and president of Lord Publishing, Inc., publisher of Ronstadt's Financials - Budgeting and Planning Software. She developed many Microsoft Network websites in the Finance category, and was publisher of the Journal of the Case Teachers' Association. She has served on several boards, including the Dover/Sherborn Education Fund, New Hampshire Audubon Society, and The Austin Project.
